Light Diesel Oil (LDO)
Light diesel oil is a mixture of fuel oil and diesel and is a byproduct. It is made from crude oil by blending petroleum. Which gives in a light, low-cohesive liquid fuel. It is also known as distillate fuel or marked oil. It is used for engines with rpm less than 750 or non-automotic objectives, i.e., furnaces, boilers, etc.
LDO benefits include ease of operation, better calorific value, easy handling and storage options, lower cost, and input credit under the GST regime.
